Well, then...

I think that this must be some kind of record. After a day of slogging, my email in-box is down to *ten* items.

My truck is in the shop today (routine winter-to-spring changeover stuff), so I took today as a 'work from home' day. From 08:00 to 10:00 and then from 12:30 to 15:30 I have been reading, responding, doing this-that-or-the-other-thing and generally killing off emails. I had over 140 this morning.

Of course, in-box maintenance is the information age equivalent of weeding your garden. You do it, and things look great for a couple of days, but then the weeds start creeping right back in. In fact, Lookout Outlook has chimed for new mail twice in the time it's taken me to type this. I hate weeding!
