After some fifty-six hours the South end of my network is back in business. Mode1 finished the last of their repair splices shortly after seven this evening. There's going to be a thorough post-mortem (read: I have no intention of letting us settle back into business-as-usual without one).

The one question that, at this hour, remains unanswered is: have CL&P and ECI gotten the school's power distribution system running again, or are we still running on generator? On a "good of the many" level I kinda don't care whether Bulkeley is open on Monday; I care that the power is stable and the other eighteen sites that depend on Bulkeley can operate properly.

But, for now, I am pleased to see a network map that is all green. Green is good.
