click for larger image Around nine this morning I was warming up a couple of containers of mom's milk for the baby. It struck me that I had no need of using so crude a method as shaking a couple of drops of milk onto my wrist to judge the temperature. No, I have a thermometer. Better parenting through SCIENCE!

In other news, the little guy continues to grow like a weed. I weighed him yesterday and he was up to 8lbs 7oz ... a net gain of 2½lbs since birth. Also, he received his first piece of official mail yesterday -- his Social Security card arrived. And so it begins. :-)
