An old dog learns a new trick...

It had to happen sooner or later. At least one virus writer has gone back to the methods of the good old days. Following the idea of the floppy-disk viruses that plagued us in the '80s and early '90s comes the USB removable drive virus:
Researchers at Sophos are warning of a new worm virus that spreads via infected USB devices. The W32/SillyFD-AA program, or Silly worm, automatically spreads itself to any USB storage device connected to a PC it has infected, and then passes itself along...

What's that old saw? There's nothing new under the sun.
