Piles

I conked out at about 9:30 last night, and woke up a little after 8:30 this morning. The 11 hours of sleep felt pretty good. Now, after being up for two hours, I'm feeling like a member of the walking dead ... this will probably come and go for the next 48 hours.

The order of business for the day is unpacking, dealing with the mail, and all of those things that come with getting home after a long trip.

The cats have decided that I am real. Retribution may commence at any time.

I spoke with Asha for a little while this morning. She taking the day at home to do some more internet data mining (shadi.com), and will be composing her survey instrument soon.

Yesterday's state-wide bandh (general strike) was largely peacful ... a train and a petrol bunk (gas station) that were running got stoned by crowds, but that was it. Pretty much everyone shut down, and pretty much everyone stayed home. Hopefully with an opportunity to get their agitation out of their systems, the Cauvery water decision protesters will allow everyone else to get back to business-as-usual.

Now that I'm home, I have re-flagged all of my India entries as public (just a little empty-house paranioa). Looking for the tag india will turn them all up should you want to read them.
