I tried that one, and was deeply disturbed to learn that its designers thought that "comics" and "comic books" are all pornographic.

Doh. I didn't dig enough on the creators' site to find out if the images were chosen or just random pulls from Google. Given that some of the images were 0 pixels x 0 pixels, I'm guessing that it's random... Yes - their FAQ says that it's random from Yahoo images.

Oh, I just did a manual search on "comics" on Yahoo's image search -- 15 out of the first 15 results were "not work safe". Hmmm, Google is better -- 2 out of the first 15 are "girly comics"; the others are clean (and I have safe search turned off).

I'm not sure if it's more or less disturbing that it's a glitch rather than a feature. Or something.

*Sigh.* Sometimes I think Western civilization really is just kind of circling around the toilet bowl on the way down.

There is certainly historical precident enough to support the conclusion that we are on the "decadent and decaying" end of the cultural lifecycle.
